Four regional Meetings give Space for the missionaries to Speak Out

On the second day of the Mission Festival at Dornkal, organised by the Mission and Evangelism Department of the Church of South India (CSI), group discussions were organised in the regional level (Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu). The Malayalam region group discussion with the theme “SMART: Biblical and Theological Perspective” in focus, was led by Rev. Dr. Prinstone Ben (UBS) and Rt. Rev. V. S. Francis (Bishop, East Kerala Diocese), the Kannada Regional discussion with the theme “SMART: Liturgical and Missiological Perspectives” by Rev. Solomon Paul J. (Director, Dept. of Youth), Tamil region with the theme “SMART: Empowerment and Educational Perspectives” by Rev. Dr. John Samuel Ponnusamy (Principal, Gurukul Lutheran Theological College, Chennai) and Telugu regional discussion was led by “SMART: Prophetic and Diaconal Perspectives” by Rev. Dr. Praveen Perumalla (CSI- EMS Liaison Officer) and Rev. James Cecil Victor (Director, CSI Synod Pastoral Concerns Department). The missionaries, a thousand in number, took an active part in these discussions and shared their views, concerns and suggestions on the mission priorities in India.
