Dr. Susan Thomas has been elected as the President of the Women's Fellowship of the Church of South India.

The Church of South India (CSI) Women's Fellowship's central committee elected Dr. Susan Thomas as the new President. Dr. Susan is the wife of Rt. Rev. Thomas K. Oommen, the Deputy Moderator of CSI. She is currently serving as the President of the Women's Fellowship of the Madhya Kerala Diocese of CSI. The Central Committee, which was met yesterday in Bengaluru, consists of representatives from all the 24 dioceses of the Church of South India, also elected Ms. Leela Manohari Joseph (currently serves as the President, W.F. Madurai Ramnad Diocese) as the Vice President of C.S.I. Women’s Fellowship, and Mrs. Jessie Shiri (Karnataka Central Diocese) as the Treasurer. Ms. Synthi Sobha Rani will continue as the General Secretary. 

Earlier, Dr. Susan Thomas held the responsibilities as the Secretary of Christava Sahitya Samithy (Christian Literature organisation) in Kerala and the Treasurer of the Board of Theological textbook programme of Asia.
