The second phase of the process of making an action plan for the CSI Dioceses and institutions to curb the caste-based discrimination in the higher education field is getting momentum. A group of pastors, educationalists, and students came together to prepare a questionnaire for the empirical research, which will be utilised as the base data for the further steps in the process. This team, which met at the CSI Synod Centre on the 17th and 18th of May 2018, prepared the framework of the questionnaire, which will later be sent to the dioceses and institutions. Rev. Dr. Pearly Walter, Mr. Sekar (an activist), Ms. Jiji Melvin, Rev. A. F. Amos Lazarus, Mr. Simon V.S., Dr. M. Dhinakaran, Mr. Benny Joseph, and Mr. C. H. Ebenezer, Rev. Immanuel Nehemiah attended the workshop, which was led by Rev. Sunil Raj Philip, the Director of the Dalit & Adivasi Concerns Department of the Church of South India Synod.
