Skill Enhancement Training for Rural Youth at KCD

A Synod training program of 3 days on the skill enhancement to the rural youths was conducted at our Diocese youth department at CSI BCC. Around 30 Participants attended he training from different churches of Gowribidnur, KGF& Bangalore.

The program was inaugurated by our Bishop, Rev. Dr .P.K. Samuel. He delivered the Key note Address, encouraged & motivated the participants to find the skills in each one of them, equip with knowledge & have effective interpersonal relationship with God to encounter the Challenges.

The training was designed to provide value based and skill-based knowledge. Expert trainers Mr. Jacob Swaminadhan, Mrs. Jency Thomas & Mr. Raghavan from Skill factory covered Life skill training topics such as team work, goal setting, SWOT analysis, time management, communication skills, career mapping, and leadership skill training resume writing and mock interviews.

This training enabled to build self-confidence, career mapping and leadership abilities to the youths.

On the Final day, Rev. George Jayaprabhu, Associate Treasurer, KCD conducted a meaningful devotion & wished each participant a bright future. A special word of thanks to Mr. Franklyn James, the Treasurer for his encouragement. Thank the Officers of the Synod & Rev. Solomon Paul, Youth department, Synod for their initiation.
