The Mission and Evangelism Department of Church of South India has organized an Exposure Visits to Bathalangady, Santha Veri, Kumaragiri and Kaimana in Chikkamaglore areas of Karnataka Southern Diocese on 28th July 2o18. It was the opportunity to explore more about Missional Engagements towards an upliftment of less- privileged those who are still struggling to live. Furthermore, the visit has prospected feasible and viable projects such as Elderly Care, Child Empowerment and Self Helping Group’s Activities as part for radical transformation through an Inclusive Missional Interventions.

There are various linguistic groups including Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada speaking people living in these areas harmoniously. Most of them are daily labors in coffee estates. They are lacking inevitable resources to meet their basic needs. Therefore, it will be a prophetic role of the Church to accompany with them for their sustainable existence and development.

Rev. Sebastian Jethna (Mission Director), Rev. William Branham, Rev. Deva Prasad and Rev. Maxcin John have participated in the Missional Exposure Visits.
