The Mission and Evangelism Department of CSI Synod has engaged with the Mission Board of Madhya Kerala Diocese at the CSI Bishop’s House, Kottayam on the 3rd July 2018. “Not religious conversion, but making and transforming discipleship must be the thrust of the Missional activities”, said Most Rev. Thomas K. Oommen, the Moderator of the Church of South India, during his Presidential Address.  'Inclusion as well as the transformation of all' should be the goal of our Missionary activities. Nowadays, the Church of South India seriously striving for “Borderless Church”, the Moderator added. Further, he emphasized that the Church should keep the purity in life and work and serve for the well-being of all creation based on peace, justice and reconciliation.

Rev. Thomas Paikadu (Diocesan Treasurer), Rev. John Isaac (Diocesan Clergy Secretary), Dr. Simon John (Diocesan Lay Secretary), Mr. Jacob Philip (Diocesan Registrar), Rev. Das George (Diocesan Mission Board Secretary), Rev. Jacob George (Diocesan Mission Director), Rev. Raju Jacob (Diocesan Mission Co-Ordinator, North Indian Mission), Rev. Mathews P. Oommen (Diocesan Integral Mission) and Rev. Maxcin John have attended the meeting along with other Mission Board members.
