Villages are Vigorously Desiring for the Transformational Mission Accompaniment and Embracement

Chennai: Church of South India, Department of Mission and Evangelism join with the Board for Mission and Evangelism, Vellore Diocese for the Mission Exposure Visit to the Puthalapettu Mission Field areas on 12th May 2019. The exposure team has visited the following villages Pakala, Puthalapattu, Amayapally, Savalapally, Maddulaiahgarypally, Cherulopally Colony, Kondraju Kaluva and Nilampally. Rev.  DSC Menon (Mission Director, Vellore Diocese) along with Mr. Shikha Mony (Mission Coordinator) have led the exposure visit. Rev. Dr. Issac Kadiravelu (Vice-Chaiman, Vellore Diocese), Rev. Maxcin John and Mr. Satheesh and Mr. Subhash (Missionaries) have accompanied the Mission Exposure Visit.

The Visit has rejuvenated the people to enhance their various capacities towards various missional engagements in their living context. The Team urged the people to act and work as the channel of House of God and promote the values such as love, peace, justice and reconciliation in their living context.

Through the exposure visit, the exposure team became aware about the inevitable as well as essential needs of the people. The villages are seeming to be vigorously desiring for the transformational mission accompaniment and embracement. There are lot of potentialities and possibilities deposited in around the villages. So, they really needed to be enhanced and facilitated their potentialities like arts, agriculture, various skills, organizational capacities etc.  for the sustainable development of their life as well as of others.
