COVID Relief Food Kit Distribution in Madurai-Ramnadu Diocese.

The Church of South India Synod has distributed Covid relief food kits to the Missionaries ( HMS), Junior Church workers, Bible Women and the participants in the Divyabodhiny School of CSI Madurai-Ramnadu Diocese on 06th March 2021 at OCPM School, Madurai.

Adv. C. Fernandas Rathina Raja, General Secretary CSI Synod along with Rt. Rev. Dr. M. Joseph, Bishop in Madurai-Ramnadu Diocese has led the distribution ceremony. Mrs. Leela Manohari Joseph( Diocesan Women's Fellowship President ), Rev. Dr. A. Yakkobu( Diocesan Deputy Chairman), Rev. A. David Jabaraj( Clergy Secretary), Mr. J.P. Edwin Chelliah ( Registrar), Rev. Pon Prabhakar( HMS Director), Rev. Vinolin Caleb( Director, Junior Church), Rev. Sathish( Director for Eco-Concerns), Rev. Peter( Director for Christian Education Department) and Rev. Maxcin John, Synod Mission and Evangelism Department have participated in the distribution. A seventy-five beneficiaries were there to collect the food kits. It was a source of encouragements, relief and a token of accompaniment of Church with people during the crisis like pandemic.

The Relief food Kit distribution was the experience to highlight that the Church as a medium to witness "the with-ness of God" with people, especially with the suffering community.
